DOTPROJECT

I was doing research looking for a web-based project management software for my company and managed to came across "dotproject".

After giving it a try, I find it is superb software.... Best of all, it is free!

Let me list out what is my likings for the software:
1) Free - no cost, no restriction, open-source.
2) Web-base - no installation to client machines.
3) Gantt Chart - Gantt chart providing quick overview of projects.
4) E-mail support - Can sent reminder, notifications via e-mails.
5) Forum - Forums for discussion. Great if members are across countries.
6) Files Management - Project related files can be uploaded and shared.
7) User Management - Task allocation, access control, all available.
8) Field customization - Addition of fields can be easily added.

For a free software, I feel this is very comprehensive.
Only concerns is that you will need IT trained person for the installation.
