The use of words impact your life significantly.

Below are some common examples, compare the phrases, which is better?
Phrase 1(a) : I cannot afford this?
Phrase 1(b) : How can I afford this?

Phrase 2(a) : This is impossible, it cannot be done!
Phrase 2(b) : How to make it possible?

Phrase 3(a) : I don't know.
Phrase 3(b) : I need to find out more.

If you noticed, all the (a) are restricting yourself. If you used a lot of (a), you are actually limiting your capabilities. The brain will not think further, thus all it ends here.

Whereas (b), the phrase allows you to think more. Think of alternatives. (b) are more constructive and you will achieve more as well as benefits more eventually.
