Current the economy is bad. Employees are worried if they are affected by retrenchment or pay-cut. Most companies’ management does not communicate bad situation to the employees, assuming the alarm that will arise. As such worries continue to linger among the employees. And sometime, untruth stories were created by employees thru assumption, creating unnecessary situation.
At difficult times, companies needs to double or triple the communication to their staffs. It maybe bad news but employees need to know so that they can work with urgency to overcome the upcoming difficulties.
Only by knowing the situation, they will also know the importance of the role. Even the situation turned bad to worst, employee are mentally prepared and understand management has done they best. They will be willing to accept the facts to come.
To fight the war, you need to unite the soldiers. To unite the soldiers you must communicate.
