Knowing how to control your finance is an important key to success. Unfortunately, this is not taught at school.
For most people, their financial knowledge came thru experience. But why should this come from experience when your parent already have that experience. Can it be taught like any academic subject?
Well, I think it can be taught but not by classroom teaching style.
Parent needs to set the environment for the children from young (around 9 years old). Progressive let the child experience the need of finance control and guide them to learn the skill.
Setting the environment at the right level is important. Too tight, the child may resort to selling, robbery. Too loose, they will not learn the skill.
