Procrastinatino - comes from the Latin word procrastinatus: pro- (forward) and crastinus (of tomorrow).
The first I came across this word from my best friend - Kevin. But I did not understand it fully even after he explained to me. But now, I regretted it for not understanding the word.
In layman's term - it mean delaying/deferement your tasks. For example, you have homework that needs to be done. But you will give yourself excuses to do it later. Excuses like 'let me finish the TV programme first', 'It's late, I will do it early in the morning'. Thus, you keep delaying /procrastinating your task time and time again, ultimately the task is never completed or hastily done at the last minute.
The word does not apply only to students, even to working adults, including me. Whenever, I got something to do, I keep delaying because emotionally not ready to do it. But it time to change, and it a change the MUST be taken. Hereby, I declare I will not procrastinate from the now (25-Oct-2006 11:00 am) onwards.
If you are a person who procrastinate, I welcome & dare you to make the change with me.
