SWOT

SWOT is a simple analysis tactic. By thinking thru your SWOT analysis you can know how to position to the best advantage.

Strength – Know your strength. Example, my product has high reliability.

Weakness – Know your weakness. Example, my competitor has a 30% lower selling price.

Opportunities – Open and see other opportunities. Example, by securing this deal, I will have better chance in secure the customer next 3 years tenders.

Threat – What are the risk involve? Example, we might not able to delivery in time due to so-so.

You can apply this as yourself in your company (if you are an employee).  For example, “S” – what is your main contribution to the company. “W” -  what area you need to improve. “O” – are the open in other department that you can excel further. “T” – how is the company in the economy crisis? Any retrenchment?
